Biography

Waltraud Morawitz, born in 1956 and living in Heidenheim an der Brenz, has been passionately devoted to painting since 2005.
Her artistic journey took her through numerous independent art academies and individual courses before she intensified her studies at the Freie Kunstakademie Augsburg in 2017—a process that continues to this day and constantly evolves her work.

Waltraud Morawitz loves to give shape to new forms and, in the process, create unique color gradients. Sometimes delicate and fluid, sometimes bold and rich in contrast—her works range from realistic painting to abstract compositions and informal forms of expression.
